Frequently asked questions
Can I analyze channels that aren't mine?
Yes. It only reads public YouTube data, the same numbers anyone can see on the channel page, so competitor research is fair game. Nothing needs to be connected or authorized.
Why does the history line only cover part of the window?
The public API returns the latest 50 uploads. If you post daily, 50 videos might only cover a couple of months. The analysis says how many weeks it actually covers and scales the averages to match.
Is the purple line a promise?
No, and it says so right on the chart. It's your current pace plus three shorts a week at whatever your shorts already average. Real results depend on the clips and the hooks. The point is that three shorts a week is very doable when you're repurposing instead of creating from scratch.
What data do you store?
Lookups get cached briefly in server memory so repeat searches are instant and we stay inside YouTube's API quotas. We don't build a database of channels and we don't store your searches.
Want the clips made for you?
These tools polish clips you already have. Clipzing is the part that makes them. Paste a YouTube link and you get vertical clips back, captioned and ready to post. Plans start at $8.33/mo. Cancel anytime.
