Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it as needed.

Clipzing lets you turn long-form videos into short, vertical clips, edit captions and styling, and — when you choose — publish those clips to third-party platforms you connect, such as YouTube. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

You retain ownership of the content you submit and the clips you create (“Your Content”). You grant Clipzing a limited license to host, process, and transform Your Content solely to provide the Service to you (for example, transcribing audio, generating captions, and rendering clips).

You represent that you have the necessary rights to the content you upload or submit by URL, and that your use of it — including downloading source videos and publishing the resulting clips — does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights, and complies with the terms of the platform the content originates from.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Infringe intellectual property or other rights, or process content you do not have rights to use.
• Upload unlawful, harmful, hateful, or sexually exploitative material.
• Violate the terms, policies, or rate limits of any connected platform.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent the Service or its security.
• Resell or provide access to the Service in a way not permitted by your plan.

When you connect a third-party account, you authorize Clipzing to act on your behalf only as described in our Privacy Policy. For YouTube specifically, by connecting your account you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and you acknowledge that Clipzing’s use of YouTube data is subject to the Google Privacy Policy. Clipzing uploads videos to your channel only when you explicitly initiate the upload, and you are responsible for ensuring the content you publish complies with the destination platform’s policies.

Paid plans and credits are billed through our payment processor (Stripe) on the terms shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments and used credits are non-refundable. We may change pricing prospectively with notice.

The Service — including its software, design, and branding — is owned by Clipzing and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to use the Service except as expressly permitted.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated output will meet your expectations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clipzing will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
