Browser Clip Editor: Captions, Trims and B-Roll

All plans. Creator allows 5 edits per clip; Agency keeps unlimited edit history.

The automatic clip is a first draft. The editor is where you make it yours: trim the start, fix a misheard name, change the caption style, move a cut. It runs in the browser, shows changes as you make them, and saves as you go. Nothing is rendered until you press Export.

How it works

  1. 01

    Edit by the words

The transcript sits beside the video. Select text to trim to it, or click a word to correct it, and the clip follows.

  2. 02

    Work on the video itself

Captions and text on the video can be selected and edited in place, with a timeline underneath for trims, B-roll, music and transitions.

  3. 03

    Export when it is right

Edits are saved as a draft automatically. A render happens only when you export, and only the parts that changed are redone.

The details

  • Runs in the browser. Nothing to install.
  • The preview is built to match the export, so the exported clip looks like what you approved.
  • Drafts autosave; you can leave and come back.
  • Exports are rendered on Clipzing’s servers and count against your plan’s usage.
  • It edits the clips Clipzing made from your video. It is not a general-purpose editor for assembling a long video from scratch.

Questions

Do I have to edit every clip?

No. Many clips are ready as they come. The editor is for the ones where a trim or a corrected word makes the difference.

Can I make a clip longer?

Yes. A clip can be extended using the surrounding transcript, for when it ends a sentence too soon.

Can I edit without opening the editor?

Yes. The copilot can change titles, descriptions, captions and hashtags, extend a clip and add B-roll when you ask in plain language.
