How it works

   Every word is timed

   The transcript knows when each word starts and ends, which is what lets a caption highlight words as they are said instead of showing a block of text.

   You pick a look

   Choose a caption style for a clip, or set one as your default so every new clip starts with it. Styles differ in font, colour, position and animation.

3. 03

   You fix what it misheard

   Names and jargon are where transcription goes wrong. Correct a word in the editor, or add recurring terms to your brand vocabulary so they are spelled right from then on.

The details

• Transcription and captions in more than 30 languages.
• The preview in the editor is rendered by the same engine as the export, so what you see is what is burned in.
• Restyling a clip re-renders only what changed. A batch restyle across your library asks for confirmation first, since it re-renders many clips.
• Captions are burned into the video. Clipzing is for finished vertical clips, not for exporting separate subtitle tracks from your long video.
