AI Copilot: Edit and Schedule Clips by Asking

All plans, with 100 chat messages a day. The connector for outside assistants is part of the same account.

The copilot is a chat inside Clipzing that operates the product for you. Ask it to retitle your last ten clips, change a caption style, extend a clip that ended early or schedule next week’s posts, and it does the work. Anything that publishes, spends or deletes is shown to you for approval first. The same abilities are available to Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants through the Clipzing connector.

How it works

  1. 01

    Ask in plain language

“Give these three clips punchier titles.” “Add B-roll where he talks about the factory.” “Schedule my five best clips across next week.”

  2. 02

It uses the product’s own actions

The copilot does not generate a vague suggestion; it calls the same operations the buttons do, on the clips you named.

  3. 03

    You approve what matters

Creating a new job, publishing, scheduling, a batch restyle and deleting a clip all stop for your confirmation, with a summary of exactly what will happen.

The details

  • It can read clips, transcripts and scores, change titles, descriptions, captions and hashtags, extend clips, add B-roll, and schedule or publish.
  • Actions that publish, spend usage across many clips or delete require explicit confirmation.
  • Outside assistants connect through an MCP server at clipzing.com/api/v1/mcp with a browser approval step and no API key to paste.
  • An assistant sees only what you grant: read, edit, render and publish are separate permissions. On Starter an outside assistant can read and edit; render and publish need Creator or Agency.

Questions

Can it post something without me knowing?

No. Publishing and scheduling always stop for your approval and show what will be posted, where and when.

Can I use Claude or ChatGPT instead of the built-in chat?

Yes. Connect either one to your Clipzing account and it can do the same things from its own chat window. The setup guide takes about two minutes.

Does it replace the editor?

For routine changes, often yes. For frame-level work such as moving a cut, the editor is still the right tool.
