Frequently asked questions
What resolution is the exported image?
Whatever the video's native resolution is. A 1080×1920 clip exports a 1080×1920 image. PNG is lossless, JPG comes out at 95% quality and is a smaller file.
Is my video uploaded to your servers?
No. The video plays from a local object URL and the frame is drawn to an in-browser canvas. Nothing is transmitted to Clipzing.com.
The export button gives me an error. Why?
Once in a while a browser can play a codec but won't expose it to canvas. HDR and 10-bit files are the usual suspects. Converting the clip to a normal H.264 MP4 fixes it, and so does trying Chrome.
