About Clipzing
Clipzing is an AI clip generator that turns long videos — YouTube links, podcasts, streams and uploads — into captioned vertical shorts for YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Instagram Reels.
Who builds it
Clipzing is built by Mojtaba Maleki, its founder. He works on the whole pipeline — transcription, picking the moments worth clipping, reframing to 9:16 around whoever is speaking, and captions — and writes the Clipzing blog.
What Clipzing does
You paste a YouTube link or upload a video. Clipzing transcribes it, finds the moments that stand on their own, cuts them into vertical clips with captions, and gives each one a title and hashtags. You can edit any clip, then download it or post it.
- YouTube Shorts are scheduled and published for you. TikTok clips are sent to your TikTok inbox as drafts, for you to finish and post in the app.
- Instagram posting is not available yet: download the 9:16 clip and upload it to Reels yourself.
- Videos can be up to 2 hours long; uploads up to 500 MB.
- It also works from AI assistants: Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor can operate it through the Clipzing connector.

How we write about competitors
Clipzing publishes comparisons and alternatives pages. Every price and limit on them is read from the other tool’s own pricing page and shows the date it was checked. We wrote those pages, and they say so.
Pricing
Plans start at $8.33/mo billed yearly. There is no free plan, and you can cancel anytime. Details are on the pricing page.
