Viral score
A viral score is an AI-generated numerical estimate of how likely a candidate video clip is to perform on short-form platforms. AI clip generators compute viral scores by analyzing multiple signals — speech cadence, hook strength, length, visual cuts, emotional peaks — and ranking candidate clips so creators publish the highest-scoring ones first.
Viral scores are predictions, not guarantees. A clip with a 92 score is more likely to perform than a clip with a 47 score, but topic saturation, posting time, account history, and audio licensing all affect actual performance independent of clip quality. The score measures the controllable craft variables; the rest is environment.
Different AI clip generators use different scoring models.
