AI Hook Voiceovers: A Spoken Opening Line

Creator and Agency. Not included in Starter.

The first two seconds decide whether a viewer stays. Clipzing can write a short opening line for a clip and speak it over the start, with the original audio lowered underneath so the hook is heard. It is for clips whose best moment begins quietly and needs a reason to keep watching.

How it works

  1. 01

It writes the line from the clip

The hook is drafted from what the clip goes on to say, so it promises something the clip delivers.

  2. 02

    You choose the voice

Six voices and four delivery styles. Pick the one that fits your content, or remove the hook from any clip where the speaker’s own opening is stronger.

  3. 03

    It is mixed in

The voiceover is placed over the opening and the clip’s own audio is ducked beneath it, then returns to full level.

The details

  • 6 voices, 4 delivery styles.
  • The hook text is editable before you export.
  • It is optional per clip: turn it off where it does not help.
  • The voice is synthetic. If your audience expects to hear only you, use the written on-screen hook instead.

Questions

Is a voiceover hook always a good idea?

No. It helps when a clip opens slowly. When the speaker’s first sentence is already strong, a voiceover on top of it gets in the way, and the clip is better without.

Can I write the hook myself?

Yes. Edit the suggested line or replace it with your own before exporting.

Which plans include it?

Creator and Agency. Starter clips have captions and titles but no voiceover or B-roll.
