Auto Reframe to 9:16 With Speaker Tracking
All plans.
A landscape recording has to become a vertical one, and the crop decides whether the clip is watchable. Clipzing works out who is speaking and keeps them in frame, moving like a camera operator would instead of snapping between positions. It also frames by kind of video, because a two-host podcast, a screen-share lesson and a game stream need different treatment.
How it works
- 01
It finds the speaker
Faces are tracked through the clip and matched to who is talking, so in a conversation the frame follows the voice, not the largest face.
- 02
It chooses a framing for the genre
The video is classified first: podcast, interview, single speaker, education, webinar, streamer or sports. Each has its own framing strategy, for example keeping a screen share readable in a lesson or keeping the gameplay and the facecam together in a stream.
- 03
It moves the frame smoothly
The crop follows its subject with eased movement and cuts cleanly at scene changes, so the result does not jitter or jump mid-sentence.
The details
- Output is 9:16 vertical, the format for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Multi-speaker conversations are supported: the frame changes with the speaker.
- You can adjust the framing of any clip in the editor if you disagree with the automatic choice.
- Reframing works on the picture that exists. A speaker who is off camera in the source cannot be brought into frame.
