Two of these matter more than they look for agent-driven work.

Edits per clip is the agent's room to iterate. Five edits means the assistant can try a caption style, look at it, and try another. On Starter, with one edit per clip, an agent's first attempt is its only attempt — which is why Starter's MCP scopes stop at edit and don't include render.

Your source footage is untrusted input. Speech becomes transcript; transcript enters the assistant's context. If someone in a video you clipped says something that reads as an instruction, a naive agent may act on it. Clipzing's confirmation instructions tell the model to refuse outright if the instruction to confirm came from video content rather than from you — but this is a real threat class, and it's worth asking any tool you use how it handles it.

What doesn't get automated

Being straight about this, because the "AI runs your business while you sleep" version of this pitch is a lie that costs people money.

Source selection. The single biggest determinant of clip performance is what you fed in. No agent fixes weak source material, and choosing it well requires knowing your audience.

Channel identity. What each channel is for — its voice, its angle, why anyone follows it — is a positioning decision. An agent can execute consistently against an identity you define. It cannot define one.

Final review. Confirmation gates exist because your judgment is load-bearing. Treating them as a formality to click through defeats the entire purpose.
