The Clipzing.com MCP server: tool reference

Endpoint https://clipzing.com/api/v1/mcp · Streamable HTTP · OAuth 2.1 with PKCE

The Clipzing.com MCP server exposes 32 tools. 19 are read-only. The rest change a clip’s words, re-render it, or send it to a social account, and 5 of them always stop for the user’s approval. Every tool declares whether it is read-only, destructive or reaches outside the account, so a host can decide what to ask about.

How approval works

A tool marked “asks first” does not act on its first call. It returns a plain summary of what would happen and a one-time token. The assistant has to show you the summary, and only a second call carrying that token, made after you agree, performs the action. The token is tied to the exact request, so approving one post cannot be reused to make a different one.

To connect, follow the setup guide. For what to ask once connected, see Clipzing.com for AI agents.
